International Women’s Day 2026 - what are WAW up to this week?

On the 8th March 2026 it’s International Women’s Day and Women’s Academy Wales are attending and supporting a multitude of events taking place to commemorate the week. International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate women’s achievements globally, to recognise growth, face ongoing challenges and renew our commitment to gender equality.

This aligns with our mission at the Women’s Academy Wales, supporting our community to uplift and connect with other women. Alongside advancing the personal and professional development of women in Wales.
